Tonight, the 24th Harbin ice and snow film festival and the 2nd Chinese Film Industry Celebration takes place in Harbin.  Famous director and superstars glitter on the red carpet.

Chinese Film Industry Celebration Awards is the Harbin city party committee, Harbin city government, China Film Critic Society organized and attracted the attention of Chinese film industry people.  Leon Lai Ming, Charlie Yeung Choi Nei, Tong Dawei, Wang Xuebing, Yuen Biao, Yuen Wah, Chopstick Brothers and others appeared.

This Ice and Snow Film Festival continues to make the "Chinese Film Industry Celebration" into the Chinese film industry's film celebration with the most modern features of industry trends.  As the nucleus activity the 2nd Chinese Film Industry Celebration this year will continue to make the entire Chinese film industry its discussion background.  According to the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television's publication comprehensive film special funding office and cinema circuit receipts the previous year's Chinese film industry awards were handed out.  At the same time, special design awards were set up to encourage Chinese film industry development and promote film professionals and companies that have made outstanding contribution.

Lai Ming came to Harbin without his wife Gaile Lok.  He attended with Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) but he was just as happy.  Although Lee Chi Ting has not been in the business for too long, he already has certain recognition in music and movies.  This year he receives the event's 2011 Chinese Film Industry Outstanding Cross Over Performance Award.

Lee Chi Ting in 2009 won the Best New Performer Hong Kong Film Award and received opportunities from a variety of big time directors to get in contact with different characters.  This time he was very happy to have a chance to accept the award in Harbin.  This year he has two film releases, THE ALLURE OF TEARS (KING SING JI LUEN) and COLD WAR (HONG JIN).  Has he asked Leon for advice on how to prepare for a performance?  He picked up Leon's golden words, "Inaccuracy is the best preparation!"  He said that he remembered Leon has said that the most important thing in acting is be yourself, start with your own feelings and not too watch too many performance of other people, then you would have individuality.

Charlie Yeung Choi Nei yesterday attended a shopping center New Spring decoration unveiling ceremony.  Later she will spend the Lunar New Year with her mother in Taiwan.  On this trip back to Hong Kong she also met with her newlywed sister Gigi Leung Wing Kei.  This year was Gigi's first year as a married woman and giving away laisee.  She joked, "Right, I definitely will ask her for it."

Charlie recently has been busy with directing as she planned for her first new film CHRISTMAS ROSE, which Charlie will write and director and invited directors Tsui Hark and Jacob Cheung Chi Leung to produce.  She pointed out that directors Tsui Hark and Cheung Chi Leung taught her a lot of filmmaking knowledge and asked their friends to help.  She did not know how to repay them.  She also said that her new film from script conception to the production start took three years.  She felt that it was not a long time since it was her first time and she did not have any experience.  She heard that some scripts after 7 to 8 years still have not been made.  Seemingly the entire team would charge "friend rates".  Who would she like the leads to be?  She said that although they have been confirmed she could not announce them yet.  Would she invite her good sisters?  She asked everyone to wait for the production start date.  She hoped to concentrate on the film preparation and would not participate on screen.  With the title would the film be a Christmas release?  She said that the film had nothing to do with Christmas, it only meant hope.

New film SLEEPWALKER 3D (MUNG YAU 3D) would be released today.  Two nights ago a premiere was held.  Leads Angelica Lee Sinjie and Charlie Yeung Choi Nei appeared.  Charlie even wore the Sinjie designed cacac dress and easily became the focus.

Two nights ago the premiere not only had the director Oxide Pang Shun and the two lead actresses, Universe boss Daneil Lam Siu Ming also appeared.  Guests conducted the launch ceremony with a girl with a pillow and pajamas.  Jason Chan Pak Yu's new girlfriend Leanne Fu Hiu Mei and other models attended too.  Charlie wore Sinjie's label cacac dress.  Sinjie revealed that she was responsible for the design and the label has existed for over a year.  Charlie said, "I like it very much!  I will keep wearing her clothes!"  Sinjie revealed that Charlie was her first client and would also sponsor her.  She was her label's super VIP.  Sinjie said, "I gave Charlie a discount, I sold her some and gave her some."  Sinjie said that the lable was in Malaysia and had presence in Mainland department stores.  Charlie complimented Sinjie.  "From store rental up Sinjie started from zero and personally ran with it.  So I plan to enthusiastically support her."  Would Sinjie consider running the business full time?  She said, "No!  I only chip in with good friends.  I am responsible for designs."  Earlier Gigi Leung Wing Kei and her husband Sergio dressed up and went to Lan Kwai Fong, did Sinjie and Charlie celebrate Halloween with Gigi?  Sinijie said, "On the 30th we had a party at a friend's home.  I wore Smurf ears and Hubby put on an Elvis mask and looked like Shek Sau.  Sergio had a lot of fun too!"

Chan Pak Yu publicized his romance with pseudo model Fu Hiu Mei.  Jason's new girlfriend yesterday also attended the premiere.  As for publicizing the relationship, she said that they did not want to hide.  Fu Hiu Mei said, "At first I was afraid that it would affect his career, when reporters called me I denied it!  Now we can go out in the open!"  Speaking of publicizing the romance elevating her popularity, she said, "Maybe it did!  (Would you hold hands outside before?)  Yes!  Now we would watch ourselves a little.  I hope to be able to get married.  I was serious in every relationship and hoped to walk to the end!"  She also revealed that many otaku fans learned about her relationship on the 22nd and made it their unhappiest day.

SLEEPWALKER 3D (MUNG YAU 3D) on Octobe 27 2011 will open in the Mainland for Halloween.  The film earlier held its world premiere at the Tokyo International Film Festival.  After returning from Tokyo,
recently a national premiere was held in Beijing.  Oxide Pang Shun, Angelica Lee Sinjie, Huo Siyan, Charlie Yeung Choi Nei, Li Zhonghan all appeared.

Lee Sinjie in the film appeared without make up to play a mother who suffered from sleepwalking.  Her mental struggle and conflict affected the audience.  At the premier everyone praised Sinjie's acting, in particular when she fought for her child in the film many shed tears.  Lee Sinjie honestly said, "Thrill and spiritual pressure were very real.  I was very much in character, maintaining the condition and emotions all
day.  When we got to the scene my emotions couldn't be held back and I kept crying."  Yeung Choi Nei even shared Pang Shun and Lee Sinjie's "Sleepwalking couple" on the set gossip, saying that she was very envious that Lee Sinjie married a good husband.

Huo Siyan not only shared the joy of homecoming form Tokyo, "Daring Huo" also said that she was very sentimental.  In the film she played a Hong Kong female inspector, the character contrast was huge.  At
first she was very nervous about her performance, but Director Pang Shun gave her a lot of support and confidence.  Days ago when she watched the film in Tokyo for the first time, she felt that this film was the best birthday present for her this year because this film made her experience growth and breakthrough.

The Oxide Pang Shun directed film SLEEPWALKER 3D (MUNG YAU 3D) two days ago held a world premiere at the 24th Tokyo International Film Festival.  He led actors Angelica Lee Sinjie, Charlie Yeung Choi Nei, and Huo Siyan in attendance. They enjoyed the film with the media and the Japanese audience and answered audience questions.  Pang Shun even shared his dream.  He revealed himself to be a toy fan.  In one scene Lee Sinjie threw away a robot toy, which was from his personal collection.  He joked, "I believe in real life, Sinjie would very gladly reenact this scene."  Sinjie cracked up next to him.

Mainland star Li Zhonghan was asked about working with Sinjie, Huo Siyan and Charlie Yeung Choi Nei.  He took the chance to express his love for Charlie.  "Sinjie is the director's wife, I didn't dare to have imagine any exchange with her; I have known Siyan for many years.  This time she plays a female police officer.  I have never seen such a pretty police officer, but I treat her like a little sister; when Charlie disguised herself as a man, I already liked her very much.  I have always had a crush on her."  Li Zhonghan after the "expression" was so emotional that he was wiping away sweat with tissues.  Charlie sweetly smiled in response.

Later when Charlie was asked whether she would accept Li Zhonghan, she said, "Am I silly!  He is always saying that, he just like the story in THE LOVER (LEUNG JOOK)!  (Is it the first time someone publicly
expresses his love for you?)  It's not like that, you are always talking about that.  (Every one of your "sisters" are married?)  I still have (Valen Hsu) Hui Yu Wan, no matter what I am dragging her in."

Chinese Thai Pang Shun was very concerned about the flood in Thailand and about sheet metal figure.  "I asked a worker to watch it over night and told him to leave with my 'collection' if something happens.  Actually in the short run I won't go back to live, I can only pay attention to the disaster online!"  Boss Daneil Lam Siu Ming came to celebrate Huo Siyan's birthday two days ago.

Director Oxide Pang Shun and Angelica Lee Sinjie's first film after marriage, SLEEPWALKER 3D (MUNG YAU 3D) was already their third collaboration.  However this time was not about ghost but sleepwalking.  Sinjie even thought that the shoot was very fun.  In the film she discovered that when she woke up she was still wearing pajamas but in high heels and had mud on her hands.  She suspected that she killed her missing former husband while sleepwalking.

Sinjie deeply believed that dream was a type of sixth sense or subconscious.  She personally supported the latter more and thought that perhaps due to large life pressure people subconsciously hid deep inside.  Thus they should properly face their fears.  In the past Sinjie also kept dreaming because she accumulated too much.  Once she even woke with tear marks on her face.  However she would rarely have the same dream and she never asked anyone to explain it.  Some said that she should have sweet dreams now from the perfect marriage.  She said, "After marriage I really haven't shed tears while dreaming, but Hubby says that I sometimes would talk in my sleep."  Sinjie also pointed out that she might be too in character.  After the shoot when she returned home to sleep she would see her character and perform it once more.

Sinjie this time worked with her good friend Charlie Yeung Choi Nei for the first time.  They met over ten years ago when Charlie opened a studio.  At the time Sinjie's manager asked her to shoot an image photo
for Sinjie.  Later they started to talk over the phone.  Sinjie said, "That should be the 'Girl Generation'.  After the photos were shown to the film company boss I was immediately hired."  However they did not have many scenes together and did not have enough fun.  Charlie suggested that they could work together next time or add another friend Gigi Leung Wing Kei to make a woman film.  Speaking of Sinjie having both career and family, Charlie said that she wished Sinjie well from the heart and believed that Sinjie would be a good wife and mother.  Meanwhile she was waiting for the right one, left it up to nature and would not deliberately force anything.

Director Oxide Pang Shun and two lead actresses Angelica Lee Sinjie and Charlie Yeung Choi Nei yesterday attended their new film SLEEP WALKER 3D's press conference.  The director admitted that this time the special part was no ghost as the film was purely a murder mystery.  This time was already his third collaboration with Sinjie.  Sinjie said that the biggest challenge was both were demanding.  She even hoped to have a breakthrough.  Luckily after everyone communicated she thought that the character still had a lot of potential.  With her good friend Choi Nei's support she felt very warm.

This time was Sinjie and Pang Shun's first collaboration after their marriage.  Many silver couples did not want to work together to avoid any argument that might affect their relationships, Sinjie said that she liked to work with her husband very much because they both liked films.  They could exchange like two good friends.  In addition they were highly self aware, when they reached a certain sport they knew to respect each other and would not argue.  She also said that after marriage the director although understood her even more but also asked for more from her.  He hoped to force her to do something that he has never seen.  She
said, "Once I worked until I really wanted to die, but I couldn't cry.  Thus when he said OK, I immediately started crying.  Yet I was happy because the sense of accomplishment was huge."

As for Choi Nei she said that she never saw them argue on the set.  Sinjie also said that although her husband looked relaxed but actually was very demanding.  She even broke her past record this time with 27 to 28 bad takes.  She said, "My child co-star had no more energy to say her lines.  I was very sorry, midway through I had to go out for a breather."  They said that they were at ease when they worked with Pang Shun, because they performed poorly he would not let them go.  Choi Nei also said that this time she and Sinjie had any real scene together, which she regretted.

In coordination with the film's theme, the event yesterday arranged for a dream interpretation master to interpret the director's dream.  Actually the director for over a decade had the same dream, which made him think that after he killed someone he would even hide the corpse in a bag.  The master pointed out that he only had a side that he did not want to face.  At the same time the two lead actresses drew their dream lover, Choi Nei actually drew a cat.

Director Oxide Pang Shun and Angelica Lee Sinjie's first film after their marriage, the suspense film SLEEPWALKER 3D (MUNG YAU 3D) will open in November.  This time they even invited Sinjie's buddy Charlie Yeung Choi Nei and Mainland actress Huo Siyan to perform.  In the film Sinjie played a woman who sleepwalked and suspected that she killed her former husband while sleepwalking.

The film's first poster was unveiled earlier.  The design was ingenious.  In order to express the sleepwalking and unconscious effects, the poster used some blurry human head images while Sinjie had a baffled look on her face as she stared at her blood covered hands to coordinate with the slogan "finding the culprit in dream".  This time was Pang Shun and Sinjie's third film.  Pang Shun said that it was already a piece of cake for them.  Sinjie also said that they already had great chemistry, but this time the character was darker than before so during the
performance she had a lot of pressure.  Luckily they would communicate on and off the set.  At the same time she had good friend Yeung Choi Nei in the cast and made the production atmosphere even lighter.
