Salvatore Ferragamo and Swarovski Elements team up for the Hong Kong Cancer Rund Pink Revolution fund raiser, which held a charity party last night. Charlie Yeung Choi Nei was in attendance.

Yeung Choi Nei looked obviously thinner yesterday. She said that she recently completely work on Tsui Hark's new film and had to take care of her body and exercise. She believed that her tan made her look thinner. Earlier she was busy with Tsui Hark's 3D film JAU HAU (CAPTURE MONKEY), in which she played a tough lawyer. This was already her fourth collaboration with Tsui Hark. She pointed out that Director Tsui had different levels in her growth process, but this time she finally was able to play a woman again. Charlie said that this film at first was an experimental film. At the time Tsui Hark was making NEW DRAGON INN so he experimented with the 3D cameras, but finally he made it into a movie. She had a chance to learn as well because either at the end of this year or next year her CHRISTMAS ROSE would start production. The script has been completed, only some details like casting have not been done. She honestly said for her turn as a director this time she truly called in more than her share of favors.

Would she add her experience into the film? Charlie said that every writer would write about something that was related to their lives, but she would not write about love because this film was not a love story. As for her current love life, she honestly said that she for now would
concentrate on work. Earlier Karen Mok Man Wai said that she did not mind being a "remaining girl", Charlie agreed that a happy and full life was the most important.

Hope Education Foundation gave a five figure sponsorship to the musical HER MAGIC OF LIFE -- THE ME NOBDOY KNOWS (BO SHEK KEI YUEN), which took place two night ago in Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre. Charlie Yeung Choi Nei attended as the foundation ambassador. Yeung Choi Nei said that when she, Angelica Lee Sinjie, Valen Hsu (Hui Yu Wan) and Gigi Leung Wing Kei formed the foundation, they wanted to be able to perform a musical. This time she felt very happy that the show had its run for five figures because she felt that the learning disabled would be able to build self confidence through performing. She even said, "Half of the performers are professionals, half are children with learning disabilities. Yet I can't tell them apart from their on stage performance, and I also saw the parents watched on with a lot of tension."

Has she been busy with her first film as a director? Yeung Choi Nei said, "The film that I will direct will not start production until the end of December, now I am working in the Mainland on the Tsui Hark directed 3D thriller JAU HAU (CATCH MONKEY)."

Being able to participate in a 3D film production, Yeung Choi Nei was very excited. Because 3D films differ from normal films, actor marks have to be very accurate. She had to learn and adjust anew, everyday at work was like going to class. Tsui Hark knew that she will direct so he kept teaching and advising her on the set.
