courtesy of on.cc

Alex Fong Lik Sun yesterday worked on his new movie in Mongkok. In one scene he had many clothes pins on his face and fingers. He said, "The film has Cheung Tat Ming, Carisa Yan Wing Shan, Zhang Xinyu, in the film girls always have fun at the expense of my character. (Has anyone have fun at your expense in real life?) Not as an adult, I am careful with who I am friends with." Siu Fong said that he did not pay attention to Zhang Xinyu and Ron Ng Cheuk Hei's rumor and praised Zhang Xinyu as a very professional new actress. However personally he did not know much about her. He thought she was very nice and a good actress.

The Athena Chu Yun, Cheung Tat Ming, Zaxi Dunzhu, Waise Lee Chi Hung, Zhang Xuan, Chen Mingxin starred film THE AROMA CITY two nights ago held its premiere in Beijing. The actors and director Xu Chao attended. The film was a fantasy love story that took place in Shangri-La. Chu Yun played a mute fairy, Zaxi Dunzhu played a rich kid singer Zhang Shaojun. Two nights ago the leads Chu Yun and Zaxi Dunzhu held hands on stage and not only accepted white Hada from the people of Yunnan but also received invitations to experience the "journey of aroma" in Shangri-La.

Chu Yun in the past has played a fairy character. She joked that she was very suitable to play a fairy as she seemed to no longer able to play a human. Zaxi Dunzhu praised that Chu Yun would always be the Zixia Fairy. If he like Stephen Chow Sing Chi ran into Zixia Fairy, he definitely would add 10,000 years to the time limit of love.

Chu Yun said, "This time my character in the film couldn't talk, to me it was extremely challenging. I still want to play non human roles." How did she feel her performance was in the film? Chu Yun honestly said that she was very satisfied and wanted to watch this film earlier. Regrettably he could not attend the premiere. Zhang Xuan said that she loved pranks, this time in the film she specialized in ruining Chu Yun and Zaxi Dunzhu's romance.

[2010.11.06] NO ONE UNDERSTANDS CHRISTY CHUNG'S LINES

courtesy of takungpao.com

BRUCE LEE MY BROTHER (LEI SIU LUNG) will be released nation wide on November 25. In the film Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) played Bruce Lee, while Tony Leung Ka Fai and Christy Chung Lai Tai played Bruce Lee's parents.

Because Bruce Lee's mother Ho Oi Yu had mixed heritage, the role had to be Chung Lai Tai. Chung Lai Tai felt very excited to be able to make another film but her Cantonese has worsen and memorizing lines was very difficult. Sometimes she would deliver a pile of lines and thought that she was very successful, but no one on the set understood what she was saying. However she was very lucky to play a couple with Ka Fai because Ka Fai was a very attentive "husband" and took great care of her. He was more gentle off camera than on camera. Christy felt that he absolutely was 100% model good husband.

Ka Fai said that when he found out about the character, he immediately agreed because he thought being able to play Bruce Lee's father Lee Hoi Chuen was his honor. Lee Chi Ting even continuously praised Ka Fai for helping him a lot. Due to his lack of experience, he was worried that he would embarrass himself in front of this Best Actor. However after working together, whenever he came up short Ka Fai would advise him with a lot of attention and did not blame him once. He was very touched and never imagined the big actor would have no arrogance at
all.

In one scene the Lee family was very cheerful during the New Year, as many film stars came to play mahjong at the Lee home. Cheung Tat Ming (as Fung Fung), Lawrence Cheng Tan Shui (as Ko Lo Chuen), Candy Yu On On (as Mrs. Cho Tat Wa), Kristy Yang Kung Yu (as Mui Kei) and others guest starred. Producer Manfred Wong (Man Jun) even permitted his own daughter
to play the child star Petrina Fung Bo Bo. They were all salutes to the 50s Hong Kong film industry.
