CLOSE TO YOU earlier held its premiere in Taipei. Ming Dow, Eddie Peng Yu-Yan, Amber Kuo (Kwok Choi Kit), Fan Xinyu attended. Taiwan actor Eddie Peng Yu-Yan, Ming Dow and little music heavenly queen Amber Kuo (Kwok Choi Kit) starred CLOSE TO YOU officially opened today. Ming Dow in the film played a boxer with amnesia. In the film loyal fans Fan Xinyu in pursuit of Ming Dow tried many romantic tricks. In CLOSE TO YOU, the Fan Xinyu played Chi Sansan left Ming Dow a deep impression. The first thing she said was introducing herself with her name. Because her last name was Chi first name San San, she was "long overdue". She opened Ming Dow's eyes. When Eddie Peng Yu-Yan worked on a family scene in CLOSE TO YOU, he was too in character and lost control. As she cried and sat on the ground without getting up, Ming Dow and others did not know what to do.

Peng Yu-yan played a boxer who has never won a match. His only wish was to be able to win a match to cheer up his ailing grandfather. When he worked on the family scene with his on screen grandfather Wang Jue, Peng Yu-yan was so in character that he could not control his emotions. He cried so hard that he had a hard time with the lines. The director said how Peng Yu-Yan was and immediately halted the shoot for Peng Yu-Yan to ease his sadness, but instead Peng Yu-Yan just sat on the ground and cried out loud while ignoring other actors and workers. The director cleared the set temporarily for Peng Yu-Yan to be alone. When they returned to the production, before the director yelled "action" Peng Yu-Yan was already sobbing and in character. The new director Cheng Hsiao-Che written and directed, Ming Dow, Eddie Peng Yu-Yan, Amber Kuo (Kwok Choi Kit) and Mainland new comer Fan Xinyu starred romance CLOSE TO YOU will be released exclusively on the 13th at Cine Art cinema and simultaneously in Taiwan and the Mainland. Cheng Hsiao-Che expressed that this was not just an idol film that explored love and distance but also a youth banquet with many elements like inspiration and family.

Popular Taiwan idol Peng Yu-Yan in the film played a losing boxer who not only had exciting romantic scenes with Kwok Choi Kit but also had to fight topless with Ming Dow's boxing king. Peng Yu-Yan also displayed his eight pack abs on the big screen and said about his character,

"Fighting despite losing is the courage that young people should have, never say quit, never give up. We all need that." In the trailer, the score came from May Day's hit SUDDENLY MISSING YOU ALOT (DUT YIN HO SEUNG NEI). May Day has been very generous this time. Not only did the band perform for the film without taking a cent, its lead singer A Shin also appeared in a cameo and big screen debut as a judge.
