[2012.03.03] ANDY LAU IS UNCOMFORTABLE TALKING ABOUT HIS FAMILY

The Andy Lau Tak Wa, Deanie Ip Tak Han starred, Ann Hui On Wa directed film A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH) two nights ago held a premiere at Central and everyone appeared in black. The cast including a granny, Queenie Chu Wai Man, Jim Chim Shui Man, Kung Shuet Fa, Hiromi Wada attended in support. During the group photo, Granny saw Wa Jai and the others and immediately went to hug them. Due to the sheer number of people many had to kneel on the ground, when Granny volunteered Wa Jai immediately bent his legs so Granny could sit on his lap.

A SIMPLE LIFE received many film award nominations, Deanie and Wa Jai said that they will be in Hong Kong and will attend together. Were they fully confident? Deanie said that everyone's chances were equal. Speaking of when Wa Jai would rest, he revealed after he finished his new film MAN HUP (BLIND HERO). However he didn't knew when the official shoot will be. Was he worried that it will clash with his wife's due date? Wa Jai immediately became uncomfortable and said, "I don't know! I don't care for now! (Shouldn't you choose family first?) I am under contract, if I have to go, I have to go to avoid getting sued!" When Deanie said that she already bought a gift, Wa Jai awkwardly joked that whether she bought it to celebrate the award. Deanie clarified that she already bought a gift for Wa Jai's baby. As for Wa Jai's reported purchase of a mansion in Malaysia, Wa Jai said that you have to ask whoever wrote that as he gradually walked behind Deanie. "There are many traps out there, I have no comment about that. (They even caught your wife buying Chinese herbal medicine?) Let's not talk about that, be nice. (Would your wife be upset?) No! The film DAI JOOK HEI KET (VULGAR COMEDY) yesterday held a production start ceremony. Attending actors were Chapman To Man Jat, DaDa Chen Jing, Jim Chim Shui Man, Susan Shaw Yam Yam and others. Chen Jing yesterday appeared in a low cut dress without any fear of the chill. Producer Ah Jat pointed out that every one of Chen Jing's costume will be sexy; he also said that this film will be a category III film. It will have a lot of foul language and thus Hong Kong will be its primary market.

Chen Jing will perform in her first category III film but she will not strip. In the film she will play an "explosion girl" but she will have to keep how explosive a secret for now. Was she afraid that after making this film she will be typecast as a category III star? Chen Jing said that she was not and she will not need to strip in the film. Mainly the film will have a lot of foul language. However the film will have a "car rocking" scene.

Chen Jing every year has posed for a sexy calendar, this year she will not. She explained that she has done it a few times already and she was afraid that everyone would get tired of it. Thus this year she will leave the task to her junior colleagues while she will focus on making a movie. Will she not be sexy again? She thought that she will because being sexy helped, she did not have to make picture books and calendars all the time.

Pang Ho Cheung's debut as a director ten years ago, the film YOU SHOOT I SHOOT (MAI HUNG PAK YUN) recently completed its digital restoration and was released on Blu Ray video. Two nights ago it was screened in a cinema.

Jim Chim Shui Man after watching the digital restoration version was sentimental. Chim Shui Man said, "A lot has changed over these ten years. Back then still a DJ on Commercial Radio, Pang Ho Cheung approached me and said that he had a script to show me. He also showed me his work. He said that he would become a director soon. After watching his work, I discovered that he was a mad man. His work was very bloody. I also discovered that he truly had some understanding of me. Thus we very quickly agreed to work together." He said that before making the film, few knew him. Because of the film his popularity rose and even his income jumped. Pang Ho Cheung said, "Now he is rich."

Pang Ho Cheung said that he always maintained as collaborative relationship with Chim Shui man. They recently worked together on the film LOVE IN A PUFF 2 (CHUN GIU YU JI MING). Pang Ho Cheung responded to the audience that the film that he was the most dissatisfied with was EXODUS (CHOOK AI CUP GEI). Without any line in the film Chim Shui Man joked, "He was the most dissatisfied so he banned me from speaking in the film." Chim Shui Man hoped that he and Pang Ho Cheung would work together again, with him as the director and Pang Ho Cheung as the actor.

The film MICROSEX OFFICE (CHIU SING BAN GUNG SUT) two nights ago conducted a viewer appreciation event. Attendees included Jim Chim Sui Man, Jacqueline Chong Si Man, DaDa Chen Jing, Shum Chi Ming and Yedda Chao Tong. Chim Sui Man personally played usher and then gave away film posters to the audience.

The film opened two days ago but at night they were already showing viewer appreciation. Chim Sui Man explained that because he had a lot of work to do later, the company made such an arrangement. He did not dare to say how much the box office will be, but seeing so many cinema circuits with the film he believed that they had confidence in its box office. He later would visit cinemas in various districts for audience response. Did he ask Isabella Leong Lok Si to support the film? He pointed out that Leong Lok Si already returned to Canada because she had to take care of her child. Earlier when they dined together, did they discuss any collaboration? He said that nothing solid, but if he had a suitable film he would approach her. He pointed out that she would be willing. When she was in his class, he saw how much acting potential she had.

Would he ask Leong Lok Si to return soon? Jim Sir said that he would not, mainly it would depend on whether her condition was suitable. Maybe he would wait until after she enjoyed motherhood. New film MICROSEX OFFICE (CHIU SING BAN GUNG SUT) two nights ago held its premiere. Jim Chim Sui Man and many of the film's female stars Koni Lui Wai Yi, DaDa Chen Jing, Yedda Chao Tong and producer Wong Jing attended. Jim Sir earlier was caught having fun at dinner with Isabella Leong Lok Si. He honestly said that Isabella would like to come back to film, and that she was more mature after becoming a mother. Lui Wai Yi meanwhile became the focus of the entire event.

This time was adapted from a play. Jim Sir said that this time he took care of editing, directing and voice work himself. Would he make another movie later? Jim Sir stressed that this year and next year he would spend more time on film. He said, "Later I will make three movies, including Hong Kong film and co-production film. At the end of the year a new film would begin work as well." He revealed that with the suitable film he would approach Isabella. Would Isabella accept? He stressed that he did not want to write a check that could not be cashed. He said, "Isabella said that she wanted to make movies because she still wanted to make movies." Jacqueline Chong Si Man, Yedda Chao Tong, Jim Chim Sui Man and others yesterday promoted their new film MICROSEX OFFICE (CHIU SING BAN GUNG SUT), gave away beverages and played games with people.

As for not being as sexy as Chao Tong, Chong Si Man did not mind too much. In the film she dressed neutrally except for a bikini scene. Was she worried about the crowd? Chong Si Man thought that since two men were on hand, she believed that she did not need to worry too much. She also revealed that in the film she would talk about some sex topics. Because of the company made sex products, her eyes were opened. Did she feel embarrassed? Chong Si Man said, "No, some were like art. I never thought it was (sex products). (Did you try any?) Haha, I still haven't

had a chance to."

Chao Tong dressed up according to the event theme of sexy office lady. She even added a suit jacket. Was she worried about people focusing on her chest? Wong Jing and Jim Chim Sui Man teamed up to turn the play MICROSEX OFFICE (CHIU SING BAN GUNG SUT) into a film, which will open on June 9. Chim Sui Man said that the film would keep some interesting characters but also would add in all new stories. In order to coordinate

with the theme, he created a "sexy office" and invited sexy stars DaDa Chen Jing, Koni Lui Wai Yi and Jacqueline Chong Si Man to join the cast as sexy office ladies. Shum Chi Ming would play the handsome superior who had the female employees in the office under his spell.

Lui Wai Yi, DaDa and Chong Si Man showed off this "career lines" in the film. When they shot the film poster they even wore bikinis in the studio and show off their beautiful figures. DaDa said that the shoot was not awkward at all. They got along great as they checked each other to prevent wardrobe malfunction. She and Lui Wai Yi even became good friends due to the shoot. This time she also learned a lot about acting from Brother Jing and Jim Sir.

Chong Si Man said that many paid Jim Sir to learn acting from him, but this time while working on the film she learned from him as well. It was a rare opportunity.

Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Jim Chim Shui Man two nights ago thanked the audience for its support of their film MEN SUDDENLY IN LOVE (MAN NAM GWUN SEI DUI). They even went to two places in a row and gave away posters to viewers at the cinemas. Jim Sir also went to check out the audience response, which felt pretty good. Earlier at the premiere, his friends also came in support. At the time their emotions were very high. However the audience two nights ago was very high as well, but the scenes that they were excited about were different. Perhaps due to different areas, audience reaction was different too.

Two nights ago Chau Sau Na dressed less provocatively. She never thought about how high the box office had to be before she was willing to show off to thank the audience. As long as everyone had a good time she was fine. Ultimately it was her first comedy, some nervousness was inevitable. The good response put her at ease. However Jim Sir was full of confidence and believed the box office would reach 10 million. If so how would Chau Sau Na thank the fans? She joked and asked Chapman To Man Jat to wear a bikini. She joked that married people were more valuable. Was she trying to be sexy less? She stressed that it was unrelated, as long as the box office was good and the audience had fun. Jim Sir joked that if the box office would be good, he would ask the director to bring them to sunshine and beaches for the sequel. The best place would be Hawaii.

Meng Yao who earlier wed appeared for the first time since giving birth. The cast played games at the premiere as wives held a public trial of their husbands. Chau Sau Na said that in the future if her husband wanted to screw around she could not do much about it, equality between the sexes was very hard. Yeung Chi Yiu said that she could not tolerate her boyfriend doing so, but if he was her husband then he had to learn to wipe his mouth after screwing around. She could pretend she did not know.

Chan Fat Yung said that she was a very dumb wife. If she knew her husband has gone off the rail she definitely would speak up. The host asked about her on screen pairing with Wong Jing. To Man Jat revealed, "Brother Jing is actually a pair with Chan Fat Yung!" After speaking out, To immediately hid behind the cast. Mak Ling Ling bent his ear right away. Chong Si Man also said that she could not tolerate her other half going off the rail, joking that she would cut off her other half's important part and turn him into a female friend.

Jim Sir said that he could not be luckier as the beauties took turns feeding him. When young model Jiang Yi leaned over she displayed her "career line" and successful stole the show. Jim Sir in the film had a wife and a lover. Has he gone off the rail like that in reality? He said, "I don't dare to screw around but I want to." He joked that men were like flowers and were responsible for sowing the seeds. Did he and "lover" Tsui Ji Yin have any bed scene? He said, "Brother Jing didn't write any, but any off the rail activity was done after the lights went out." Brother Jing joked, "If the lights aren't out, then you can't perform children plays." Andy Lau Tak Wa has always avoided questions about his wife Chu Lai Sin. Lately Wa Jai was accused of talking about his family while promoting in Beijing; yesterday he promoted his new film SHAOLIN (SUN SIU LUM JI) at Kowloon Bay and continued to decline to respond about

his family. He stressed that he did not talk about his family anywhere. Speaking of Jim Chim Shui Man turning his theme song into a homophonic dirty song. Wa Jai did not mind as long as viewers enjoyed it. However he stressed that he would not sing dirty songs.

Wa Jai, director Benny Chan Muk Sing yesterday promoted the upcoming release SHAOLIN. He and Mainland Shaolin monks demonstrated poses. Wa Jai also played games with many female fans. Fans were enthusiastic as they fought for the chance to be on stage and pose for

pictures with Wa Jai.

Lau Tak Wa after completing his concert has not seen any official time off. Recently he was busy with promoting the new film all over. Because the primary promotional responsibility lay with him, Wa Jai said, "Earlier I went to Singapore, Taiwan, the Mainland had Fan Bingbing and

(Nicholas Tse) Ting Fung. Tomorrow's premiere will also have Ting Fung." Wa Jai pointed out that SHAOLIN originally was scheduled for a Christmas release, but due to many film releases and cinema issues, it was switched to the Lunar New Year. The Wong Jing produced, directed, written and starred new film MAN NAM GWUN SEI DUI (STRONG MEN SCREW DEATH SQUAD) two days ago shot on location in Jiangmen. The shot included Wong Jing, Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Chapman To Man Jat, Dik E Tat and other cheating men who ran into models Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Carol Yeung chiu Yiu, Caroline Chu Yui Lam, Jessica Xu (Tsui Ji Yin), Jiang Yi and others; as the ladies braved the cold and posed for still shots in bikinis and rain coats, Chrissie and Carol naturally became the focus. When reporters asked her to pose with Carol, Chrissie looked to her assistant for help and said, "Let's wait until

everyone is here for a group photo."

To Man Jat in the film played a fengshui master, which Wong Jing said Ah Jat would use to meet girls. However he would not add any fengshui related news. As long as the comedy was funny he did not need to add other elements.

Ah Jat in the film played a couple with Mak Ling Ling, which he joked he strongly demanded. "I feel when both the husband and the wife are fengshui masters, Mak Ling Ling has to play the old lady character. After losing weight her figure is great! The film industry is very dark, actors can choose actresses." Did he "strongly demand" Carol as well? He laughed and said no comment.

Earlier Raymond Wong Pak Ming revealed online that Ah Jat was flirting on the set. He said, "He wanted to write something funny for everyone to read. On the set girls flirt with me. (Did your wife Krystal Tin Yui Nei ask you to pay attention?) No, she has plenty of experience."

Tsang Chi Wai, To Man Jat, Wong Jing, Dik E Tat and Jim Chim Shui Man yesterday worked with Chau Sau Na, Yeung Yiu Chi and others on the new film. The pairings were rather funny. Chi Wai was with Sister Na, Ah Jat was with Carol, Wong Jing was with Chu Yui Lam. Working with five sexy ladies, Chi Wai and Ah Jat of course were in great spirits. On the set they often chatted and had a lot of fun!

Has Chi Wai not worked with young people in a long time? He joked, "It's rare that Ah Jing would keep me in mind. Many are envious. I just started work." Wong Jing just passed by and heard what Chi Wai said. He joked, "Then there is no salary!" Chi Wai and Sister Na had many scenes together. Would he have any bed scene "benefit"? Impersonating TVB chief Stephen Chan Chi Wan in the play MY LIFE AS A TV, Jim Chim Shui Man was banned. Recently their relationship thawed as he not only appeared in TVB's all new reality show but also guest starred in the Lunar New Year film I LOVE HONG KONG. Jim Sir said, "The problem has never been too great. I create with creativity, any station that is interested in me I would work with. This time still turns out to be a collaboration. (Will you slam TVB on the program?) I will play, but not slam." He also praised the program as not as sloppy as he imagined. With only one episode, further collaboration will depend on ratings and TVB's sincerity. Did Jim Sir feel TVB was not as petty as it used to be? He did not answer directly. "I work when it's suitable, there is no need to be so stubborn." Jim Sir earlier worked on a children's program for TVB but halfway through the project was halted. Later even the person who approached him left the post.

Adapted from the play MICROSEX OFFICE (CHIU SING BAN GUNG SUT), the film yesterday shot at the Clearwater Bay Studio. Actors included Jim Chim Shui Man, Koni Lui Wai Yi, Jacqueline Chong Si Man, Shum Chi Ming and veteran actress Bonnie Wong Man Wai. Although Chong Si Man was only guest starring, she was very generous and appeared in a sexy bikini.

Standing next to Chong Si Man yesterday, the tall Wai Yi was shorter. Later she realized that Chong Si Man wore high heels and joked that she had to complain.
