Before the Spring Banquet began, boss Peter Lam Kin Ngok led the artists and the guests for a group photo on the stage and held a toast ceremony.  After the ceremony, the host invited Chin Wa to remain on the stage and brought out a cake to celebrate her birthday.  Yet the host revealed that Chin Wa was 38 and said that two nights ago was Chin Wa's Lunar and regular birthday, which happens only once every 19 years.  Chin Wa said, "Why would you tell people it only happens once every 19 years."  Later she with her husband Ting Chi Ko cut the cake as if they were reenacting the wedding ceremony.  Chin Wa could not help but laugh.  She also made a wish for good health for everyone, children and wealth, and luck in love.

Two nights ago many artists performed, EXILE lead singer Atsushi sang I DO and won applause from everyone.  When So Wing Hong performed THAT SOMEBODY (NA SHUI), Lai Ming even jokingly went on stage to present flowers.  Two nights ago many artists put up cash for the lucky drawing.  Big Boss Lam Kin Ngok put up 30,000, Lai Ming 5,000, Chin Wa 2,000 and others.  Chin Wa was five months pregnant.  Did her cup size increase?  She said of course.  Was Mr. Ting very satisfied with his wife's figure?
He said that he has always been.  Chin Wa joked, "Did you eat the honesty red bean bun?"  Earlier Lam Kin Ngok revealed that she was carrying a son, Chin Wa said that she and Mr. Lam both originate from Chaozhou so they were more traditional.  She did not mind boy or girl, this pregnancy would very likely be a son but the ultrasound was not clear.

How did Chin Wa celebrate her birthday?  She said that two nights ago she had a party with family and friends.  Ting Chi Ko decorated the venue to give her a pleasant surprise.  When asked about her birthday wish, Chin Wa said that the most important was health and safety.  What did Mr. Ting give to his wife?  He said that the party was it.  Did he give anything extra this year?  He joked, "I already gave it to her.  She is pregnant, the gift can be displayed for an entire year."  Chin Wa said, "So gross."  Speaking of taking care of the baby, Mr. Ting admitted that she had talent and joked that he knew which kind of bottle would leak milk, because he had friends with babies too.  In addition, Gaile Lok recently was rumored to be pregnant, Lai Ming two nights ago took the initiative to clarify.  He said, "No lying during the Lunar New Year.  She isn't, don't misunderstand."  Reportedly he bought a home in the U.S. for Gaile Lok's pregnancy.  Lai Ming said, "Did I buy a home?  Yes, that's it!"

Juno Mak Chun Lung with REVENGE A LOVE STORY (FUK SAU JEH JI SEI) at the 15th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival won the Best Actor award. Director Wong Ching Po also at the 33rd Moscow International Film Festival won Best Director. The film company yesterday held a celebration for them. Willie Chan Chi Keung, Stanley Kwan Kam Peng, and executive producers Josie Ho Chiu Yi and Chan Chi Chung attended.

Juno honestly said that he was very happy about his first film award. He said that at the time because he did not understand Korean and his near sightedness kept him from reading the English subtitles. He only learned that he won when the director screamed. He said, "I never thought about winning because the competition was very strong. At that moment I didn't know how to react. The funniest part was, after I gave my speech in Mandarin I realized that they didn't have a Mandarin translator. Later I gave it again in English, it was like winning twice." Juno also thanked his god father Chan Chi Keung and Chiu Yi. Because of REVENGE's daring subject, finding an investor was difficult. Luckily Chiu Yi agreed after reading the script. Would Juno get a raise after winning Best Actor? He said that was up to his god father. Chan Chi Keung felt that Juno should widen his range right now and could think about salaries later. Juno would like to develop a film career with his god father's experience, he would also like to direct if the opportunity would present itself. Has he shared the news with his father? He said, "I look forward to showing the award to my family! My parents and my brother are very happy too!"

Ho Chiu Yi felt elated from the film's overseas successes. Because award winners have always been major feature films, she did not expect that a horror film would win. She praised the jury and even Juno for a performance that was a pleasant surprise to her. Unfortunately he was not nominated for a Hong Kong Film Award for Best New Actor. She said, "Maybe the genre made his nomination impossible, luckily he won overseas." Will Chiu Yi still mainly make bloody and violent films? She said that the theme would "explosive" and extreme. With the success of this film, Chiu Yi said that she has not have the time to tell her father yet. In addition Chan Chi Keung announced that the new direction of the film company that he and Juno founded, including the already completed Juno, Pat Ha Man Jik, Stephy Tang Lai Yun, Jimmy Wang Yu, Gary Chaw (Cho Gat) starred new film LET'S GO (BO WAI JIN DUI ji CHOOK DUNG LA! PUNG YAU!), the next film will be a collaboration with Kwan Kam Peng.

[2011.05.08] JOSIE HO CLEANS OUT HILARY TSUI'S NEW STORE

courtesy of takungpao.com

Hilary Tsui Ho Ying's trendy store Liger two nights ago held its anniversary party. Her friends Josie Ho Chiu Yi, Yumiko Cheng Hei Yi, To Yu Fung, Lillian Ho Ka Lei and others attended in support.

Ah Tsui said that business has been decent as she planned to open a third store, but her daughter complained. Thus she planned to consider it again when she had enough help. She joked that even her husband Eason Chan Yik Shun could not help but ask whether giving her ten years would be enough! Ah Tsui thanked her friends for their support, but the biggest support had to be Chiu Yi. Ah Tsui gave Chiu Yi a pair of shoes, and Chiu Yi also bought half the store.

Chiu Yi said that she bought enough not to have to shop the rest of the season. She said that lately she has been busy with the Yim Ho directed HUNDRED YEARS OF A FLOATING CITY (BAK NIN FAU SING), in which she played Aaron Kwok Fu Sing's mother in her youth. Thus she would not have any scene with Ah Sing. She said that she has played Ah Sing's family member several times and seemed to have quite a connection. Unfortunately acting with the baby in the film was rather difficult. Her baby co-star was big and heavy, holding him was not easy at all. Thus she would rather leave the task to her brother. She also said that earlier she "adopted" catering and costume personnel on the set as they all called her Mama! As for her mother's health, Chiu Yi said that she had problems everywhere. Currently she is recovering but in general her health is fine.

[2011.04.19] LAM KA TUNG WORKS TOWARD PRODUCING

Lam Ka Tung

The film GALLANTS (DA LUI TOI) two nights ago won Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Film Score. Producer Lam Ka Tung, directors Derek Kwok Chi Kin, Clement Cheng Si Kit led actors Teddy Robin Kwan, Susan Shaw Yam Yam, JJ Jia (Ga Hiu Sun), Wong Yau Nam and Hanjin Tan (Chen Woon Yan) attended the Tsim Sha Tsui celebration. Eric Tsang Chi Wai and Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung also came to congratulate them. In addition although Josie Ho Chiu Yi did not win Best Actress, her film DREAM HOME two nights ago celebrated as well. Her husband Conroy Chan Chi Chung attended.

Lam Ka Tung said that he was very happy and was very nervous before. He said that he had the most confidence about Teddy Robin's victory, but did not expect Sister Yam Yam to repeat. The four awards truly were unexpected. Has he called the film investor Andy Lau Tak Wa? He said that he already received five messages from Wa Jai. He not only congratulated the winners but also told everyone to keep working hard. Would Ka Tung produce another movie? He said, "Earlier I didn't want to because of how tough it was, but now with the treat I hope to continue the development." Would he raise his rate? He said that he and Wa Jai did not talk about money, they worked as long as they wanted to. Did he feel this time the elder actors were given the awards? Ka Tung said that could not be said. They were dragons depending on who discovered them. He said that everyone did their best, like Chen Kuan-Tai and Leung Siu Lung who did not use any double or ask for overtime. They were worthy of encouragement. Would Ka Tung and Wa Jai celebrate? He said later Wa Jai would perform concerts in the Mainland, he hoped Wa Jai would give him ten tickets for friends or give each person ten tickets. Then after the show they would dine with Wa Jai. Has Ka Tung heard about Wa Jai becoming a father? He said that he did not know, he left the personal matter for him to talk about himself. These four awards were already four fortunes.

Ho Chiu Yi two nights ago lost Best Actress. She said that she would not be too disappointed. The nomination was like an award for her. She said that she was already very happy with such a performance with her first production. Did she congratulate Carina Lau Ka Ling? She said that she has not have the chance. Did she feel that Ka Ling won due to seniority? She said no, it was unrelated. It was purely due to her good acting. Other than Sister Ka Ling she could not think of anyone else who could play Wu Zetian. She said, "In my heart Lau Ka Ling as Wu Zetian was the best, she appeared with an aura, domineering and very natural."

Chiu Yi said that her sisters Chiu King, Chiu Fung and Chiu Ha accompanied her on the red walk to support her and she was very touched. They stayed for the entire show, which she appreciated. She said, "My sisters rarely say we support you, but as soon as they heard I was nominated they immediately said that they had to come." Chiu Yi said that she would continue to invest in movies and hoped to try again next year. She said that the next film would not be bloody and would be crazy in another way. Would she be the lead actress? She said no necessarily as she would respect the story.

The 30th Hong Kong Film Award took place last night at the Cultural Center. A red carpet ceremony was held outdoors, but the Hong Kong Observatory issued a yellow storm warning at 3:55PM. Rain continued to fall, soak the red carpet and fill the venue with puddles. The event immediately reacted, not only did it set up tents for the media but also had people to carry umbrellas for the guests. The event also arranged for the guests to walk under the tents on the edge of the red carpet instead of down the middle.

Although the weather did not cooperate, guest spirits remained high as the red carpet still glittered with stars. Many like Carina Lau Ka Ling, Josie Ho Chiu Yi, Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Angelababy and JJ Jia (Ga Hiu Sun) all displayed their career lines. Married women like Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa and Esther Kwan Wing Ho dressed conservatively. Because many stars had long trains on their dresses, they were all wet. When Ka Ling and Chin Wa appeared, the rain came down the hardest. However Ka Ling was just as dominating as Wu Zetian and still made poses, she even blew kisses to the media. Would she feel lonely because Tony Leung Chiu Wai could not make time to attend? She said, "no, it's another type of feeling. Don't you feel I am very pretty?" She also said that she revealed very warm text messages from Wai Jai but for now she could not talk about them. Fellow Best Actress nominee Ho Chiu Yi appeared in a purple low cut evening gown with her sisters. She only said that she has always been bold. Her sister loaned her the jewelry. She also said that her father the Casino King should be watching at home to support her. Yeung Chin Wa's train was wet. Because the dress was priceless she was somewhat worried, but she would make the compensation if she had to.

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Cheung Pak Chi appeared on the red carpet holding hands. Ting Fung was dressed up like Prince Charming while Pak Chi wore a long black dress with 1.2 million worth of jewelry. Did Ting Fung prohibit Pak Chi to be sexy? He said, "Of course I prohibited it." Was Pak Chi pregnant? She said that for now she definitely was not, but if Ting Fung won then they would quickly make another. If he did not win she would punish him. Their babies stayed home to watch television. Pak Chi honestly said that she was worried that their younger son would smash the television because every time he saw Ting Fung he would be very excited. Nick Cheung Ka Fai also prohibited his wife from being sexy. Why did he not wear the white suit from the previous year? He joked that Ting Fung wore it. Did he bring his wife to bring luck for himself? He stated that he did not believe in metaphysics and the so-called lucky charm.

Angelababy wore a white dress and appeared with Raymond Wong Pak Ming. Her nemesis Janice Man Wing Shan arrived with Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting). Although they did not run into each other, they both wore white. Chau Sau Na wore something low cut in the front and the back, displaying her ample four inch career line. She joked that no water got in. Fiona Sit Hoi Kei wore a long dress with 2.3 million worth of jewelry. She revealed that she had a fever two nights ago and went to bed very early. Although Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) was in the Mainland, he already sent her a message to congratulate her. Wai Ying Hung wore white to the 1st Hong Kong Film Award, so last year she also wore white. She joked that she has been just as innocent for 30 years. Chow Yun Fat and his wife appeared. The host joked that they were nobles who attracted a storm when they went out. Some said that the storm was an omen that Fat Gor would win. Fat Gor joked, "It's a June frost grievance!" In addition, Ann Hui On Wa fell from the stage to the red carpet and screamed. The crew immediately helped her up and luckily she was not injured.

[2011.04.16] MIRIAM YEUNG RATES HER COMPETITION

courtesy of mingpao.com

Miriam Yeung Chin Wa was nominated for Best Actress for the first time. Although tomorrow the result would be revealed, Chin Wa was not nervous at all. The Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress was too far away for her.

Chin Wa said, "When I first took the romance LOVE IN A PUFF (JI MING YU CHUN GIU), it was purely because I liked the script. It was very close to me, I believed the audience would relate to it. I never thought what it would bring me." Chin Wa earlier won the Film Critic Society Best Actress award with PERFECT WEDDING (PO PO CHIU GAI YUN), now with LOVE she was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Award. She thought this year was a good start. "I am very appreciative. Turning from a singer to an actress, I have never studied at any training class. I had zero knowledge about acting. Luckily directors still gave me a chance. With every movie I seemed to have attended one class, step by step I explored the mystery of acting. With the Best Actress award and the Hong Kong Film Award nomination, I finally passed my transition from singing to acting and received everyone's recognition."

Chin Wa has seen all the competition films. Who did she feel was the most threatening? She said, "Comparison is very hard. Award shows aren't volleyball elimination matches, not everyone is playing volleyball. Every film genre and character is different. It's very hard to say which opponent is the most threatening. I can't play BREAK UP CLUB because I am almost 40. I can't be certain whether Sit Hoi Kei performed well or not. Although I am a local girl, I am not suitable to play Tang Wei's CROSSING HENNESSY character. I can understand this character portrayal difficulties. Sister Ka Ling played Wu Zetian in DETECTIVE DEE AND THE MYSTERY OF THE PHANTOM FLAME (DIK YUN KIT ji TUNG TIN DAI GOK), which was also difficult. It required strength and domination to be convincing, not just anyone could play it. Chiu Yi in DREAM HOME was very human, everyone did great." She instead thought LOVE IN A PUFF's Shawn Yue Man Lok and BREAK UP CLUB's Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) deserved Best Actor nominations. She said, "Lok Jai's performance was very convincing, Cho Ming's airport scene even made me cry."

Speaking of LOVE IN A PUFF, the hardest for her was smoking. Chin Wa said, "I don't smoke, but I was afraid that I was realistic enough. Before the shoot I personally experienced it at night spots many times and discovered many different expressions while smoking. I saw a girl who in the time of a cigarette met a guy, truly amazing!" She revealed that after LOVE advertisers thought her image was not good enough and she lost several campaigns. As for how much she lost, she never calculated it and never hurt over it. She said, "If I didn't make LOVE, my losses would have been much greater." She admitted that as she grew older, she felt that she should not have any baggage. She would put down her persistence and could accept different genres and characters. She felt that if she played her DUMPLING character now, she would be able to master the character.

[2011.04.11] MIRIAM YEUNG'S HUSBAND THROWS COLD WATER ON HER NOMINATIONc

courtesy of takungpao.com

The "laughing lady" Miriam Yeung Chin Wa in the past made mostly comedies. Earlier with the romance PERFECT WEDDING (PO PO CHIU GAI YUN) she won her first Best Actress award at the Film Critic Society. At the same time she was nominated for a Best Actress Hong Kong Film Award with LOVE IN A PUFF (JI MING YU CHUN GIU). The award show will take place in a week. Chin Wa honestly said that she was not nervous because her husband Real Ting Chi Ko already prepared her mentally.

Chin Wai spoke about the annual award show earlier. The Best Actress nominee was not nervous at all and she painted with light strokes throughout. She said, "I am not as nervous as I expected. My husband has already indoctrinated me with a lot of ideas, I am all calm." She pointed out that her husband would not only give her opinions on films but also on some reports. If he thought that she needed improvement he would suggest it to her.

Chin Wa pointed out that her husband said that this time she should not have much chance to win. She said, "I am OK. I am such a big girl now. I understand what he means. He hopes that I don't worry too much." Chin Wa said that it was very rare to find another half who listens and is able to give her power. Was she looking forward to it herself? She honestly said that whether with awards or something else, even record releases she would look forward to.

As for this year's competition, Chin Wa said that she has seen the other nominees' films. However she thought every film had a different subject, which was truly very hard to compare. For example Fiona Sit Hoi Kei's BREAK UP CLUB (FUN SAU SHUET OI NEI) character she would be too old to play; Sister Ka Ling (Carina Lau)'s DETECTIVE DEE (DIK YUN KIT) Wu Zetian had style and domination; (Josie Ho) Chiu Yi in DREAM HOME (WAI DOR LEI AH YUT HO) performance was thoroughly different from before; Tang Wei in CROSSING HENNESSY (YUET MOON HIN NEI SI) had a rhythm in her performance, which was different from the academic style in her mind. She did not know where the jury lines lay but she was very confident about "Chun Giu". Since she was emotionally calm, she would not have any pressure. LOVE IN A PUFF was a film that was close to reality, some viewers thought Chin Wa was playing herself. Yet some viewers thought her performance was "natural", which instead was hard to do. Chin Wa said, "Being naturally is very hard, so I have to believe in the director's evaluation. If the audience feels I am playing myself, it is still a sense of satisfaction. However it isn't completely me. I am tougher than 'Chun Giu'."

Chin Wa said that this year she will make movies as she will not stop working deliberately to have a baby. She said, "Even if I took a year off to have a child, I still might not be able to." She honestly said that the married life gave her strength. Her husband would not interfere with her work. He would only analyze for her as a consumer and would never stop her from making intimate scenes. At most he would not watch it. Why did she not ask her husband to be his manager? She said, "No way! He would be waiting to get fired. We can't work together, it would harm our relationship."

courtesy of takungpao.com

The 30th Hong Kong Film Award earlier invited the Best Actor, Actress, Director and New Actor nominees to pose for the program photos. They included Best Actress nominees Carina Lau Ka Ling, Josie Ho Chiu Yi, Fiona Sit Hoi Kei, Tang Wei, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, and Best Actor nominees Tony Leung Ka Fai, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Chow Yun Fat, Jacky Cheung Hok Yau and Nicholas Tse Ting Fung.

Nominated for her role Wu Zetian in DETECTIVE DEE AND THE MYSTERY OF THE PHANTOM FLAME (DIK YUN KIT ji TUNG TIN DAI GOK), Lau Ka Ling was dressed in a retro gold look with antique gold accessories. She made different poses with familiarity and had an unique classic elegance. The six time nominee Ka Ling said about the challenge from the other four nominees, "I just face it normally. Now I look forward very much to performances that I have never tried before. For example the Lam Ching Ha (Brigitte Lin) played Invincible Asia, the character could be man or woman. With the strong martial art ability she felt very amazing. In reality I have this type of sometimes very guy but sometimes very girl personality. I really want to try this type of character."

Another nominee Ho Chiu Yi during the shoot tied up her hair and dyed the sides gold to put her daring personality on display. Recently winning a Sitges International Film Festival Best Actress, her potential should not be overlooked.

As for the seven time BEAST STALKER (JING YUN) Best Actor Cheung Ka Fai, he was asked whether he was confident about defeating his competition and win the Best Actor again. he said, "This time I am not only happy and excited about the nomination, the rarest is competing with
several important actors. I am already satisfied with the 1/5 chance to win the award. Instead I am nervous for director (Dante) Lam Chiu Yin, I very much want him to win Best Director."

On the day of the shoot, Cheung Ka Fai, Chow Yun Fat, and Cheung Hok Yau ran into each other at the studio. They chatted and laughed as they talked about films and costumes. They even discussed the photography results. The scene was very pleasant. The youngest among the nominees, Tse Ting Fung also interpreted an extraordinary style in coordination with the theme.

Josie Ho Chiu Yi with DREAM HOME received a Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress nomination. She was at father Stanley Ho Hung Sun's home when she received the news. She immediately gave the good news to Mr. Ho and told her old man "I did it". The Gambling King although had lawsuits with his second and third families, he was still very happy for his daughter. He even said to Chiu Yi, "I really want to see you succeed." Mr. Ho even encouraged Chiu Yi to continue to work hard on her acting and make good movies.

Chiu Yi also thanked her father, sister and family for their trust, for this film to be able to be completed. Chiu Yi pointed out that this film earlier participated in many European film festivals, received nominations and won awards, but she was the happiest about receiving the
nomination in Hong Kong because this was a good Hong Kong film. Was she confident about winning? Chiu Yi said at first she knew the competition would be very strong, but earlier she won Best Actress and special effect awards in Spain. Now her confidence was stronger. Chiu Yi said that she would like to thank the director the most. Each team of this fil was hand picked, but they needed a director to lead them in order to be able to show their new side.

Carina Lau Ka Ling in DETECTIVE DEE AND THE MYSTERY OF THE PHANTOM FLAME (DIK YUN KIT ji TUNG TIN DAI GOK) did not have a large role but she received a Best Actress nomination. Ka Ling said, "Don't scare me like this?" Ka Ling said that she was very happy about the nomination because this production was very tough. This character's look was unique, the head dress was very heavy. During the shoot she constantly had to rest. The nomination was worth all the hardship. As for confidence, she said that she already treated the nomination as a victory. She was also happy for the film's 13 nominations.

Tang Wei was nominated with CROSSING HENNESSY (YUET MOON HIN NEI SI). She was promoting LATE AUTUMN in Korea. When she received the news she was surprised. She thanked the award and the jury, director Ivy Ho (Ong Sai) and Jacky Cheung Hok Yau. If she would not have to work she would take time to attend. Miriam Yeung Chin Wa with LOVE IN A PUFF (CHI MING YU CHUN GIU) was nominated. Chin Wa said that she was very happy. She liked this film very movie, this nomination brought her a lot of encouragement and confidence. She would put more effort into the sequel this year. As for confidence, Chin Wa honestly said that she of course would like to win. "It's Best Actress, but on my film career I still need a lot of time to learn. I am already very happy with the nomination. With the strong competition, I am already very satisfied with the "nomination" admission ticket. I would happily attend the event and wouldn't think too much."

Currently working in Beijing, Fiona Sit Hoi Kei screamed when she learned about her BREAK UP CLUB (FUN SAU SHUET OI NEI) nomination. This time she was very happy about her first Best Actress nomination. She said that the competition was very strong, but whether she would win or lose she would thank Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming), Barbara Wong Chun Chun and Lawrence Cheng Tan Shui. Only with this team was there spark.

Josie received 100 million from her father for a film company. She starred in the first film DREAM HOME, which won a Best Actress award in Spain. Because she was working in New Orleans she could not accept the award in person.

At the time Josie wrote online, "I can't believe my first time was through email notification. That night I was so excited that I was diving in bed all night. Recently Chief Executive Tsang praised me for garnering glory for Hong Kong to a friend, even he noticed. I truly felt honored!"

Reportedly Josie's Best Actress award was flown to Josie's company. Good friend and business partner Chen Koon Hei deliberately took time on New Year's Eve to present the award to Josie. At the time she as usual was at her father Ho Hung Sun's mansion to welcome the New Year with her family. Chen Koon Hei's good intention made Josie even happier. Josie even excitedly posed for a picture with the award in hand in front of her father's oil painting!

Juno Mak Chun Lung and Japanese adult video queen Sora Aoi starred film REVENGE A LOVE STORY (FOOK SAU JEH JI SEI) two nights ago held its premiere, but Sora Aoi cancelled due to illness. Juno could only support the film with the all male team of Chin Siu Ho, Anthony Lau Wing, boss and producer Conroy Chan Chi Chung. Chan Chi Chung represented his wife Josie Ho Chiu Yi who was working on a film in the U.S. presented a card to Juno as encouragement, but when he heard being called the boss he pretended to be mad and said, "Don't call me boss again, I will beat you! Haha!" The host was stunned, later he explained that he had a little to drink.

Two nights ago industry guests included Kelvin Kwan Chor Yiu, Endy Chow Kwok Yin and Grasshoppers' Remus Choi Yat Kit and So Chi Wai. Choi Yat Kit was very passionate and chased Juno with a peck on the cheek. Later Juno joked that he did not mind Choi Yat Kit taking advantage of him. He even said that seeing so many friends who came in support, not to mention one kiss, he could take ten kisses. As for Sora Aoi's earlier online comment that she hated Hong Kong, Juno believed that she was not upset at the film company. However the last time she had to do over a dozen interviews daily and she got sick, indeed it was very tough. He guessed that she was just "relieving stress".
