Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) and Stanley Huang (Wong Lap Hung) and Gigi Leung Wing Kei starred in the romance DEAR ENEMY, which joined the holiday fray.  Earlier, Aarif and director Xu Jinglei, Wong Lap Hung and Christy Chung Lai Tai attended the Beijing global premiere.  Then he went to many cinemas and had face to face exchanges with enthusiastic fans.

Aarif revealed that this film was about a financial industry war.  He played a reporter who continued to dig and tail for stories.  Aarif said that his character was a destroyer but also a builder who witnessed Xu Jinglei and Wong Lap Hung's "intimate" relationship.  Local media pointed out that his character was absolutely a representative of the new generation otaku.  Aarif said, "When I played this character, the first thing was to study how to look the most convincing with the camera.  In the film the camera was a tool that I constantly held."  A stranger to the financial industry, he in order to play this outstanding financial person even asked for his friends in the financial world for advice in order to smoothly deliver the film's professional terms.

The film was Aarif's first with a Mainland director.  He was both surprised and pleased to be able to work with Xu Jinglei.  He revealed that Xu Jinglei was a very strict teacher but also gave a lot of development space to her actors.  The collaboration process was both pleasant and comfortable.

[2011.11.30] AARIF RAHMAN DACNES IN CELEBRATION

courtesy of on.cc

Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) in the Xu Jinglei directed film INTIMATE ENEMY (CHUN MUK DIK YUN) played a financial blogger who uses every trick in the book like eavesdropping and surveillance for first hand financial news.  He has been named the "financial world Conan".  In the film he will be swept into Stanley Huang and Xu Jinglei's bidding war and developed an "intimate enemy" relationship with both.

This financial detective also had his lovable side.  When he got something he would be so happy that he danced around.  In one scene he not only dressed up like Ultraman but also pretended to play guitar.  For
someone who normally did not dance much, this was considered a huge breakthrough.

Director Pang Ho Cheung's first film in the Mainland, 4+1 (4 represents four short films that are titled Four Night Strange Tales, 1 represents a major motion picture that will be released). After the Zhou Xun starred JI GAP DOH YUN MOR (NAIL CLIPPER HUMAN MONSTER), the Shawn Yue Man Lok starred WEDDING WAR (GEIN FUN DAI JOK JIN) and the Stanley Huang (Wong Lap Hung) starred FAKE ACT REAL CREATION (GA HEI JUNG JOK), the fourth, the Leste Chen (Chen Jing Doh) directed WHEN LOVE SPREADS ON MICRO BLOG (OI JOI MEI BOK MAN YIN SI) held its first media visit earlier. Leads Zhang Jingchu and Zhu Yuchen were trapped inside a small superstar storage room. Zhang Jingchu honestly said that making this short film has been very tough because most of it took place at night. In the 100 or so hours of production, Zhu Yuchen only slept for a dozen or so hours. While making this storage room scene, Zhang Jingchu suggested to the director to add a potato chip eating scene. Although the director agreed, when they happily prepared to eat potato chips they realized that the bag was expired.

In the short film, they played a couple who had less and less face to face exchange and interact more through their micro blog. Even when they fought they did so through their micro blog. In real life, Zhang Jingchu stated that she was dead set against doing so because with less face to face opportunities people would overlook a lot of details around them; in addition she would not write about fights on her micro blog because "shame at home cannot be spread outside". Zhu Yuchen stated that off camera he and Zhang Jingchu often exchanged micro blog experience.
Although he liked it very much, he would not put personal matter on the micro blog.
