Thus, Space Battlefield Yamato begins its voyage. Shouldering the important mission of saving the Earth, a group of astronauts fly to the endlessly vast space. They believe they will definitely find "hope" in the infinite space.

The Andy Lau Tak Wa and Gong Li starred romantic comedy WHAT WOMEN WANT is based on the Hollywood film of the same name. Yet Wa Jai did not study original actor Mel Gibson's performance because he was worried that would be the opposite effect. A reprisal of the performance would be meaningless and he did not want to disappoint viewers

who appreciate his acting.

The scene that got the most attention was Wa Jai bathing as a woman. Although Wa Jai has already disguised himself as a woman in RUNNING OUT OF TIME (UM JIN), this attempt was even more daring and might viewers scream. Wa Jai said, "Actually playing a woman is quite hard. Looks are important but the spirit and some minor gestures are just as key. Thus aside from staying in shape before the shoot, I also had to observe women and read books about women in hopes of understanding women more. The result then would be more convincing."

Andy Lau Tak Wa and Mainland actress Yuan Li starred WHAT WOMEN WANT two nights ago held a premiere in Tsim Sha Tsui, but lead actress Gong Li did not attend. Two nights ago the event arranged for three couples to play games. One couple draw the same picture as if they had a psychic bond and Wa Jai honestly said that he was envious of how in tune they were. However he did not know whether they planned it in advance. Wa Jai in the film had the ability to hear women's thoughts. Was he very understanding of women? Wa Jai honestly said that women were hard to understand. Would he like to be able to hear women's thoughts? He said that he was better off without it as he would be happier finding out himself. If he had the ability it would be not different from knowing his own fate.

Two days ago was Valentine's Day, how did Wa Jai spend it with his wife? He somewhat awkwardly said, "It's fine! I have my plans." He said that the next day he had to work early so he would like to go to bed sooner. Would he give flowers to his wife? He said, "I am very low key, thank you." He said that he did not give any present. Was he afraid that his wife would be mad? He said, "No, OK, thank you everyone." Did he have a psychic connection with his wife? He only said that thank you everyone and asked reporters not to constantly ask these questions. Without co-star Gong Li was his responsible enormous? Wa Jai hoped that Hong Kong films would gradually become the primary market. Did his wife pick out his clothes? He said no, they came from the sponsors.

Wa Jai reportedly due to a Cantonese now television interview faced a Cable boycott. He said that he read how serious it was from the reports and would get an understanding. He said that he has always done Cable interviews in Mandarin. Under what condition would he conduct a Cable interview in Cantonese? He said, "No condition, I have always done so." After the ceremony, Wa Jai went to chat with Cable anchor Wai Chi Ho.

Mainland actress Yuan Li was asked about her kiss scene with Wa Jai. She said that she was already under Wa Jai's spell without the kiss because he was too handsome.

The Andy Lau Tak Wa and Gong Li starred romantic comedy WHAT WOMEN WANT will soon be released. Playing a strong business woman in the film, Gong Li had many costumes including the executive suits, tight tops, with her proud figure she was provocative and added more life to the film.

Gong Li counted, "I have played may characters from the East to the West, from the city to the country, but this indeed is the first time I play a strong career woman. It feels very fresh. The ever changing look in the film and the director's strict demand for details made the shoot a lot of fun for me. Different elements like the office, the ad company and young people create a simple love story, I think it would be very touch and very special." Aside from the numerous costumes, this was also Gong Li's first collaboration with Lau Tak Wa. She said, "Wa Jai is very serious as a person. At first I was somewhat nervous, but later we became familiar very quickly. In addition the shoot is smooth and pleasant, I am truly very honored to be able to work with him."

WHAT WOMEN WANT will be released on February 17. Director Chen Daming, actors Andy Lau Tak Wa, Gong Li, Banny Chen, Yuan Li and others yesterday attended a Shanghai press conference. Two nights ago at the Beijing premiere, Wa Jai appeared in a black suit while Gong Li wore a silver evening gown.

At the Shanghai press conference, Wa Jai who was able to hear women's thoughts in the film was called "Casanova". Gong Li was called "Queen". They did not seem to care about the titles. The media asked Gong Li whether she felt like she was the queen. She said, "This is just a promotion, it's not bad! I like it very much. Queen in my heart is a very high position, I thank you for giving me this title." Wa Jai joked, "Everyone called me Heavenly King, I wouldn't really think I am a Heavenly King!"

They both have seen the original film but Gong Li felt that the Chinese version had more advantage. "In comparison to the 80s, after adaptation WHAT WOMEN WANT was filled with emotion and more charming. It added even more Chinese culture into it, the advantage is very strong." Wa Jai also said that all remake would be compared with the original. "INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH) was remade in the U.S. We would feel it wasn't as good as ours but Americans liked it. The markets are different. WHAT WOMEN WANT was remade for the East. The biggest different was we are more reserved, the love and interpersonal relationships are more real."

The Andy Lau Tak Wa and Gong Li starred WHAT WOMEN WANT will be released on February 17. In the film Wa Jai danced the social dances. His expression and precise movement put his Casanova nature on full display. Even more attractive was aside from a group of

sexy beauties, a 5 something aunt was lucky enough to dance with Wa Jai.

Wa Jai said, "Social dancing to me isn't too hard, but this was the first time I switched several female dance companions in the film. In addition those beauties' social dances were well performed, working with them felt great. In particular the aunt who played my maid. She never learned to dance before but when she danced she was particularly flavorful. She even made the mood cheerful and light. During the shoot everyone couldn't be any happier."

During the shoot, Ge You, Peter Chan Ho Sun, Ning Hao and others visited the set. When Ge You visited he came in costume. "This year the Mainland holiday slot has three of my movies. I am not afraid of others, but Lau Tak Wa and Gong Li are truly frightening. I have to come and see when their release date is, please don't clash with mine!"
