With OVERHEARD 2 (SIT TING FUNG WON 2) a storm is brewing on August 18. After the rash of rave reviews last time, the trio of good actors Lau Ching Wan, Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) and Louis Koo Tin Lok reunited but the spark has grown instead of ceased. With many veteran

actors like Wu Fung, Kenneth Tsang Kong, Kent Cheng Juk Si and others, the new film had even more suspense and tension!

In this all new story Ching Wan played a financial wizard, which he stated was the most fun and the most valuable since it was not an extension of the previous film but talked about the flaws of society today. Ching Wan said, "This time the stock market is the background. Now everyone is looking at the stock market everyday, at the same time many people around you give you opinions. However actually maybe they all have some background motives. If something is truly that accurate, everyone would already be rich!" Ching Wan said that he rarely invested, his wife did more. Would he rather rely on hard work to make money? Ching Wan joked that he only wanted to do fun things that could make money at the same time, like how he liked acting.

OVERHEARD 2 not only had them but also added the likes of Tsang Kong, Wu Fung and others to make the film more intense. However among the trio only Goo Jai has not worked with them. At first he joked that he did not have to worry about them stealing his scenes, but actually privately he and the elders had a lot to talk about. Sometimes he would deliberately go to work earlier or leave work later for the chance to chat with them. Ching Wan also thought that he has returned to his youth because they watched him grow up. They still were very energetic. Ching Wan admired their lifestyle very much. Ng Yin Cho agreed, "I always look forward to working with them. I remember I used to watch them play cool mobsters. I never guessed that years later, I would have a scene in which I would bully them. The scene really required their cooperation to be successful. I am very happy to be able to work with them because they would always talk about the past. I feel like I am absorbing film history."

Ng Yin Cho also has a drastic change for OVERHEARD 2. Because he played a soldier, he revealed he had to gain 25 pounds in three months. Everyday he had five to six meals, which almost drove him mad. Even his wife was afraid that he went nuts. Later he was somewhat afraid of seeing food and did not want to eat anything anymore. Was he worried that he could not slim down? Ng Yin Cho said, "I was. I really wanted to lose the weight. Now I can't wear several pairs of pants. However later I have to work on another film that I have to get bigger for." Ng Yin Cho received many compliments for this look. Tsang Kong who has worked with him before praised that he even has become more of a man. Ching Wan also praised him as very special because few actors would make such a big change for a film, not to mention this look suited him well. However Goo Jai was somewhat conflicted because they had many action scenes together. In a narrow alley fight, he accidentally rammed Goo Jai's fist into the wall, which sliced off flesh and bled profusely.

In addition, when asked whether he had any box office pressure, Goo Jai felt very confident because this story was a real conflict that separated cops and crooks. Would he like to win an award again with this film? Ching Wan said that he did not think much about that. If it was to happen it naturally would. He also believed that the three of them would have a chance to work together again, because he always thought certain people with another type of people would naturally create chemical reactions. Also he would like to have more authenticate Hong Kong films like OVERHEARD 2, which would increase the competition in the film market.
