Simon Yam Tat Wa, Liu Kai Chi, Kenny Wong Tak Bun and Mainland actress Chen Ran yesterday attended the film SMILE FOR ME (TIN MA HUNG HUNG) production start ceremony. Yam Tat Wa in the film would connect the entire film and even have ten different personalities. The feeling would be very heavy.
He said, in the story his character constantly made glasses at home and would not go out. When he was free he would entertain himself online. Yet because he mistrusted some things he began to kill. Would the character be very heavy? He said, "It would, I don't understand why everyone like me to play this type of roles. I want to make more movies like ECHOES OF THE RAINBOW (SHUI YUET SUN TAU). Because I keep making these, I am afraid I won't be able to take it." Brother Wa said, luckily earlier he participated in a charity golf tournament in Hainan and took the chance to rest. Since he frequently made this type of movies, has he been depressed? He honestly said that he would. Would he hide at home and cry? He said that he has not cried but he often would run alone. Thus sometimes he would run laps in the park as he would like to see more people.
Has Brother Wa scared his daughter with his depression? He said he would not because when he saw his daughter he would feel the sweetness in his heart. Luckily he had a happy family. Brother Wa expressed that earlier while playing golf in Hainan he was burnt. Did his wife help him with facial mask applications? He said that his wife already prepared masks for him to bring to Hainan. After returning to Hong Kong every night he would use his wife's skin care product.
Liu Kai Chi said that this film was a suspense. Earlier the script has already won some script awards in the U.S. and Korea. Would he has action films in this film like in STOOL PIGEON (JING YUN)? He said, "Yes, but they are child and wife abuse." He said that Mimi Kung Chi Yun would play his wife. How long ago was their last collaboration? He said, "It was a long time ago, but earlier I have worked on television series with Kung Chi Yun. With Yam Tat Wa we haven't worked together in five years, the last time was the film SPL (SAT POR LONG)."
Would he have intimate scenes with Kung Chi Yun? He joked that they would only hold hands. Uncle Chi recently has become an university film department instructor. He said that earlier when UNDER THE HAWTHORN TREE actors promoted at the university, he originally wanted to be the translator but even actress Zhou Dongyu joked that she did not understand his Putonghua.
