The 35th Annual Hong Kong International Film Festival yesterday held its opening ceremony at the Convention Center. Guests included the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society chief Wong Ying Wai and Film Festival ambassador Miriam Yeung Chin Wa. This year has two
opening films, Johnnie To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai's DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART (DAN SUN NAM NUI) and QUATTRO HONG KONG II. The stars of the films Louis Koo Tin Lok, Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho), Gao Yuanyuan, JJ Jia (Ga Hiu Sun), Larisa Angela (Shui Sa), Wai Ying Hung, Michelle Wai (Si Nga), and Lam Ka Tung walked the red carpet. Wong Ying Wai said that Japanese film is an important part of Asian film.
